Welcome to The Chessel Practice
The doctors and staff at The Chessel Practice in Southampton are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. The Chessel Surgery operates from two sites. The main site is a purpose built surgery in Sullivan Road, Sholing and the branch surgery is a converted house in Bitterne
We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.
New Partners at The Chessel Practice
Dr Keri Hutchison and Dr Azima Qureshi have recently joined us at the practice and we would like to welcome them to our team.
Dr Jenny Lee and Dr Peter Balkwill will be reducing their patient numbers as this will give a fairer distribution of patients amongst our doctors, and will improve access to you as a patient to book an appointment with your usual doctor.
We are sorry that you have had to have another change of doctor in such a short time and we hope that this will be the last time.
If you are a patient of Dr Balkwill and your surname begins with A, B or C you may have been moved to Dr Qureshi, or if you are a patient of Dr Lee and your surname begins with A, B or C you may have been moved to Dr Hutchison. If you want to know who your registered doctor is then please contact reception or email via this site and we will let you know.
We apologise for any incovenience this may cause any of our patients. Please do not hesitate to contact our Patient Services Manager Rebecca Cooper or our Practice Manager Ian Beaumont should you wish to discuss any changes.
Many thanks for your patience in this matter.
